Over the years we have unfortunately been the victim of many domain and email spoofing schemes, probably due to the fact that a domain name with “publishing” in it sounds legitimate and trustworthy. How rude, right? We sincerely promise that no page that actually loads in your browser with the “westveilpublishing.com” domain and the locked SSL security symbol will ever be a phishing attempt or other scam. We’re just a book blog!
Be careful, as you should with any source, with links in unsolicited emails. Remember that the text of a link embedded in an email can look like anything, including a URL, while going to an unexpected URL. Type addresses yourself and be warry of misspellings. Also note that the only subdomain you should ever see from us is the currently not-in-use “newsletter” subdomain.
You shouldn’t trust emails that appear to be coming from this domain name except for:
jenna@westveilpublishing.com
newsletter@westveilpublishing.com
